Sajio Red Brick Chimney

The white walls and square red brick chimneys of Saijo's Sake Brewery Street are an impressive sight.
The name of the sake is inscribed on the chimneys, which were used in the process of steaming sake rice.
The well-used red bricks, made in the hometown of the brewer and master brewer Hiroshima, have a deep red color that looks as if they have been blackened in places by soot.
