The pale pink color is a dull, light pink with a hint of ink.
In the Kokin Wakashu, there is a poem that says, "If the cherry blossoms in the fields of Fukakusa have the heart, they should bloom in ink this year." This is a poem that expresses the mourning of the deceased and calls on the cherry blossoms to bloom in an ink-like color.

[About the Kyoto Sounds Series]
"Kyoto no Oto" is a series of writing inks that recreate traditional Japanese colors used since the Heian period with modern techniques and interpretations. Each color has its own unique name and story.
This dye ink was developed exclusively by TAG STATIONERY in collaboration with the Kyoto Plant Dyeing Laboratory, a group of dyeing and weaving experts.
This is a distinctive ink that takes advantage of the bleeding characteristic of dyes to create a gradation of light and dark shades.
- Because dye ink dissolves in water, you can use it to write with the ink and then use a water brush to blur or thin the color, allowing you to create a variety of different expressions.
