Kobe INK Special color Poai Campus Blue

Located on Kobe's waterfront, the Port Island Campus is affectionately known by students as the "Poai Campus." The campus is characterized by the beautiful contrast between its lush green lawns and classical red-brick buildings.

Inspired by this picturesque setting, Poai Campus Blue takes its name from "Poai," a popular nickname for Port Island among Kobe residents. The word also derives from the Hawaiian term po'ai, meaning "circle" or "to go around." The ink embodies the bonds formed among students who meet and learn together on campus, as well as the hope of building circles of friendship and goodwill that extend throughout the world.

The color captures the crystal-clear blue of the sky and sea that stretch endlessly before the campus on a sunny day. This transparent blue symbolizes the limitless potential and bright future of the students who study there.
