Kobe INK Special color Arise Campus Green

Situated on a hill overlooking the Seto Inland Sea and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, Arise Campus is known for its tranquil atmosphere and beautiful natural surroundings that change with the seasons.

A large clock standing in the courtyard serves as a symbol of the campus. Originally relocated from the Akashi Municipal Planetarium, it has been carefully preserved as a reminder of the memories and lessons of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.

Inspired by the scenery of this campus, Arise Campus Green is named after "Arise," reflecting both the campus name Arise (derived from the Japanese place name Arise) and the English verb "arise," meaning "to begin" or "to emerge." The name conveys a sense of hope and aspiration fitting for students pursuing their futures.

The color expresses both the rich natural environment of the campus and the enduring history cultivated by generations of students. Represented by the green of evergreen trees that retain their leaves throughout the year, the ink symbolizes the university's strong legacy and its promising future.
