"KATANA Sword Flash" Fountain Pen

In order to create a masterpiece that would make a statement when placed in a breast pocket, we took on the challenge of manufacturing a fountain pen in Gunma, a prefecture with a concentration of precision machining masters.

Gunma is a pen-producing region with many factories run by famous writing instrument manufacturers.

The nib is a 14-karat gold nib from Sailor fountain pens, which is highly acclaimed worldwide for its comfortable writing feel.

We will continue to work with artisans to create pens that captivate writing instrument fans around the world.

After studying architecture at university, he studied design in Denmark. After working for a design company and a furniture manufacturer, he is now active mainly in product design. He supports manufacturing from a design perspective in his hometown of Yamagata Prefecture.

Be aware that Japanese nibs run on the finer side for crisp, delicate lines suited to writing complicated Japanese characters or those with smaller handwriting. Produced in a limited run of 100, each pen is engraved with its unique production number.
