[Points of caution when using iron gall ink]

Similar to ordinary fountain pen ink, please wash your pen well when changing inks.
If stains remain in your pen/converter, dissolve some vineger in a glass of water and and soak the stained area in the water to wash.
While there should be no problem with leaving iron gall ink in your pen, we recommend you clean your pen periodically. If you will not be using your pen for an extended period of time, we suggest you empty the ink from your pen and store it in a clean state.
