Green Kingfisher Green

Small in size but with an audacious attitude, strikingly beautiful but with subdued olive coloration, pinpoint precision flying with explosive speed, the Green Kingfisher is truely a unique gem. Only a month after hatching, these birds are out flying and hunting on their own. Despite the name, Kingfishers will eat virtually any aquatic animal that they can fit in their comparatively prodigious beak, including insects and crustaceans. This skillfull flyer was our inspiration for a deep olive green that is understated and versatile.
