Esterbrook is thrilled to unveil the c, a stunning collaboration with renowned Japanese artist, Kaoru, of BUNGUBOX.
In Japan, there are many beautiful words that have been used since ancient times to describe the beauty of nature. "Kachofugetsu" (Flower - Bird - Wind - Moon) is one of them. Inspired by this concept, the Kachofugetsu Flower Fountain Pen captures the essence of the Someiyoshino cherry tree in full bloom, with its barrel adorned with delicate blossoms.
Crafted from beautiful semi-translucent crackled pink acrylic, the pen features gold accents and a signature gold plated nib bearing the Japanese character for "flower". The unique design allows you to see through to the printed converter, which is adorned with its own pretty pink blossoms.
We offer you this beautiful "flower" that will never fade away.
Celebrating our first collaboration with BUNGUBOX, the Kachofugetsu Flower Fountain Pen is a limited edition piece that embodies the artistry and craftsmanship synonymous with both Esterbrook and BUNGUBOX.
About BUNGUBOX

We look forward to sharing the joy of hand-writing with you through the Kachofugetsu Flower Fountain Pen.
The BUNGUBOX × Esterbrook Kachofugetsu Flower has just the right balance of charm, comfort, and personality. The details make it special, but it is still a pen I naturally want to reach for and use.
Quietly beautiful, thoughtfully made, and a joy to write with. 🌸
The Bungubox x Esterbrook Kachofugetsu Flower Fountain Pen is a breathtaking tribute to the Japanese concept of "Flower, Bird, Wind, Moon." This collaboration captures the ephemeral beauty of the Someiyoshino cherry blossom in a way that feels both timeless and deeply artistic.
The semi-translucent, crackled pink acrylic body is stunning, offering a delicate glow that perfectly mirrors the soft hues of spring. One of the most enchanting details is the custom blossom-printed converter; seeing it peek through the barrel adds a layer of depth and charm that is rare in fountain pen design.
The gold-plated nib, specially engraved with the Japanese character for "flower," provides a smooth and consistent writing experience that lives up to the high standards of both brands. Whether you are a dedicated collector or someone looking for a piece that balances heritage with a modern, poetic aesthetic, the Flower Estie is a masterpiece that brings a touch of nature's grace to every page. It isn't just a writing instrument, it’s an "everlasting flower" for your collection.
