The Pixie is a pocket pen and writes very well. I'm happy to make this purchase. As this is my first BENU, I wanted something different. I have 3 choices: Black with bling (too common), Blue with bling (too ordinary) , or Coffee Brown with bling (with reservation). The moment my daughter saw it, she was so delighted. She calls this Pixie the SPP (Sparkling Poo Poo) pen. It has the shape to go with it too. Yep. This is an unusual pen that brings delight.

This is a lovely ink. The pink sheen is subtle, and increases on quality paper. I have Unicorn in an Edison Beaumont stub, and it's a pleasure to use. The ink hasn't clogged my pen at all, and it doesn't "write dry" like some sheen inks.
I'm definitely going to order a few more sheen inks from Octopus.
For all the reputation surrounding the quality of Caran d'Ache—and Swiss-made in general—imagine my dismay to find noticeable dents and uneven paint jobs on my recently bought 849 Color Treasure Cold Rainbow. I certainly did not expect that.
This pen case is Galen. As expected, the quality is there. I love it!

Lovely color. A well-stitched zippered leather case. The zip is sturdy. The case can fit my Tomoe River Notebook and Sailor Pro Gear or Pilot 823 Fountain Pen. Highly recommended.

This ink is totally worth to buy a full bottle. The sheening is so gorgeous.
I am partial to orange and I love the shading of this ink. Better with medium nib.
Not a peanut fan ,but was attracted by the checkered design. The nib is ok, standard jowo, overall i love the pen.

One of the lightest pens i own. Good for carrying around. The maki e pattern is nice
Came with an instruction sheet which is in German, but its fun to use otherwise. Good to write down the composition ofyour ink before mixing lest you forget.
Does a good job as a flex nib. Comes with an extra nib which is good to have as nibs like these degrade fast. Metal body finishes matte and has good weight to it.

Incredibly fortunate Dino-Writes came to the Melbourne Pen and Stationery Show this year! Immediately went over and grabbed this pen. Was able to try the same pen at a meet and definitely knew I had to get one. Smaller then the 600 but still sits comfortably in the hand. Such a joy to write with.
The red sheen is so prominent especially on certain papers (Tomoe River Paper, Yamamoto Paper Takasago Premium)
