I actually used it, but it was a hassle to wrap the string around it, and I thought it would be better if it wasn't a string.

I have no experience in manufacturing.

But I want to create the perfect pen case and make everyone happy.

What kind of leather or material will you use?

This is where the troubles first began.

I researched and ordered many different types of leather, but none of them felt right.

One day, I bought a Tochigi leather product.

The feel, scent, and durability were exactly what I was looking for, and the leather is said to age beautifully over time.

Tochigi leather, made by Japanese craftsmen, was exactly the leather I was looking for.

It gently protects your pen like a futon.

We want people to experience a texture that makes them want to touch it forever.

We also paid particular attention to the interior materials.

I ordered several samples, and the one that stood out the most was TORAY's Ultrasuede®️.

You can feel the difference when you touch it, and it gently wraps around and protects your pen.

When you roll up the roll pen case, the pens may touch each other and get scratched.

To solve this problem, we designed the flap to be longer so that it covers the entire pen.

This prevents the pens from touching each other when rolled up, protecting your precious pens from scratches.

When I was actually using the roll pen case, I thought , " Maybe it doesn't have to be a string? "

Thinking outside the box, we eliminated the string and used beautiful brass buttons instead.

The pen case can be opened and closed easily and smoothly with just a simple " twist and click ."

It took six months to make and six improvements before it was completed.
