The series is called (Zhuó Yĩng) in Chinese, which means the illusion seen when fabric is washed in water. The entire series depicts the scenes witnessed by a dedicated fabric dyer who works late into the night.
In the secluded field workshop where fabric is dyed, the night is filled with the sounds of insects and splashing dye, until a sudden awakening reveals numerous fireflies dancing nearby, adding life to the solitude.
