| Both the forme. store and warehouse are located near the Kamo River, and since these two locations are across the river, I pass by the Kamo River every day. The scenery of the Kamo River changes with the seasons and with the time of day. I planned the original ink in the hope of expressing this scenery in terms of color and delivering it to you. This ink expresses the word "Yamamurasaki Suimei," which was used by Sanyo Rai, a Confucian scholar in the late Edo period, to describe the beauty of the Higashiyama mountain range and the Kamo River, and was also the name of his study. Sanyo's study and tearoom, "Sanshiseimei-jo", is located close to the forme store. On a pale purple base, which is reminiscent of the sky at nightfall, a pale coral pink, which is reminiscent of the light of the setting sun, appears.
